Frequently Asked Questions

We get a lot of the same questions before a project kicks off. Here are straight answers.

Working With Us

It depends on what you actually need — scope, functionality, integrations, and content requirements all factor in. We don't do templates or cookie-cutter builds. Every project is scoped based on your specific goals. The first conversation is free. We'll tell you honestly what your project should cost.

Most professional websites are delivered in 6–10 weeks. Larger projects with custom development take longer. Timeline depends on scope, how quickly you can provide content and feedback, and whether there are third-party integrations involved. We set realistic timelines upfront and stick to them.

Yes. Sometimes a rebuild makes sense. Sometimes it doesn't. We'll do an honest audit of what you have and tell you exactly what's worth keeping, what needs fixing, and what's actually hurting you. No upsell agenda — just a straight answer.

Both. Our background is Fortune 500, but we work with businesses of all sizes. What we don't do is low-budget template work. If you need a $500 website, we're not the right fit. If you need something that actually performs and represents your business professionally, we should talk.

Project work is contract-based with defined scope and deliverables. Ongoing retainer services — SEO, maintenance, digital marketing — are month-to-month after an initial 3-month commitment. We'd rather earn your business every month than lock you in.

Joel Atchison leads every project. You're not handed off to a junior account manager after you sign. The person you talk to in the sales conversation is the person building your project. That's the point of working with a boutique firm.

Process & Deliverables

Discovery call → proposal → contract and deposit → strategy and wireframes → design → development → review and revisions → launch. No surprises. You know what's happening at every stage and what's expected from both sides.

We can do either. Copywriting is available as an add-on. If you provide your own content, we'll give you a clear outline of exactly what we need and in what format. Most clients do a combination — they provide the raw material, we refine and structure it for the web.

Two rounds of revisions are included at each stage — design and development. That's enough to get it right. Scope creep and endless revision cycles don't serve anyone. We define what we're building before we build it, which keeps revisions focused and productive.

Yes. We build on platforms that give you real control without needing a developer for every update. We also provide training so your team can manage day-to-day content confidently. And if you'd rather we handle it, ongoing maintenance retainers are available.

Results & Performance

No one can guarantee specific rankings or revenue numbers — and anyone who does is selling you something. What we can guarantee is that we build to technical standards that give you the best possible foundation: fast load times, clean code, proper SEO structure, and conversion-focused design. The work speaks for itself.

Organic SEO takes time — typically 3–6 months before you see meaningful movement. New domains take longer. That's not a dodge, it's just how search engines work. We're transparent about what's realistic and why. If you need immediate traffic, PPC is the faster path while SEO builds.

We hear this constantly. The difference is accountability. You work directly with the person responsible for the outcome. We scope projects carefully so we only promise what we can deliver. We use verifiable metrics — not vanity numbers — to measure success. And we'll tell you upfront if what you're asking for isn't realistic.
